Wine and horses are central activities in the daily life of Quinta de São Sebastião and are closely linked to its history. Both are activities that depend on man’s relationship with nature. In the case of the horses, this relationship is represented by the “Arreio”, a Portuguese word for Harness, as a representative piece of the intervention of man. In the wine, this relationship is represented by the way our winemakers, using the latest winemaking practices combined with the millenary knowledge, can produce a wine of excellence. This wine is produced through two renowned varieties, Touriga Nacional and Cabernet Sauvignon, which perfectly adapt to the Atlantic and temperamental climate of this region.
