In partnership with the Belvedere Museum in Vienna, Austria Esterhazy Estate is able to use Gustav Klimt’s famous artwork, “The Kiss,” to create beautiful labels for their exquisite wines.
B-Corp Certified Winery from Burgenland, Austria. Esterhazy Wines are rated from 89-94 points by Wine Enthusiast.
Dark ruby-red, brilliant color; full and intense nose reminiscent of blueberries and prunes, with slightly spicy notes; on the palate this is full-bodied, succulent and mellow, with lush fruit and marked ripe tannins; a fiery, warming wine with a long and intense finish and a peppery-spicy echo.
Its luscious fruit and tenderly spicy body make it a multifaceted offering that should be flexible with an assortment of game birds and wild game like pheasants and deer, and also delicate air-dried ham. Or just enjoy a glass by itself, you will like its affability and enticing acid play.
