The Bauer Family has a deep rooted history of making wine in Weinviertel wine region of Austria. After two centuries of family running the family winery in Austria the Bauer's Family 4th generation geared their focus towards exporting the wines internationally. In 1990, the Bauer Haus family winery partnered with a variety of small family farmers located in the Rheinhessen, Germany to create "Bauer Haus Germany".
Bauer Haus is located in the heart of the Rheinhessen, Germany. The Winery is committed to producing a modern style of German quality wines at an affordable price. This value-driven brand offers an everyday style and drinkability. The wine label is based off of Burg Kreuzenstein Castle in Austria, located approximately 5 kilometers from the Bauer Family winery. This is an iconic castle that employed much of the families relatives throughout history and can be seen from the Bauer Family vineyard site.
