Crafted with traditional wine expertise and a keen sense of innovation, Kolonne Null represents excellence in alcohol-free wines. Rooted in the art of winemaking, the Kolonne Null wine lab collaborates with family-owned wineries throughout Europe. Their common goal is to capture the distinctive characteristics of each region, grape variety, and vintage in their wines, weaving a unique story with each bottle. Established in Berlin in 2018, Kolonne Null is the category leader in dealcoholized wines and sparkling wines. Their range includes five still wines, featuring Rosé, Riesling, Verdejo, and two red wine cuvées, as well as two sparkling options.
Not all grapes are the same, that‘s why Kolonne Null carefully considers and inspects the delicate and subtle differences between them and the wines we select for production. They strictly use traditionally pressed and particularly aromatic vintage wines or cuvées of the highest quality. Research in their in-house laboratory lays the foundation for every creation. While extracting alcohol they create something new, something that did not exist before: wine that is natural, low in calories, extraordinary in taste. Only the most brilliant compositions are de-alcoholized on a bigger scale and become part of the Kolonne Null collection.
Kolonne Null is very similar to the alcoholic alternatives. The alcohol is carefully removed and replaced with a delicate amount of fine grape must leaving the essential aromas, acids, and vital phenols that make wine so enjoyable. The must helps orchestrate the symphony between all of the fruits and aromas that leave the wonderful wine flavor completely intact. This is beyond grape juice, this is indeed an elegant non-alcoholic wine.
Produced with traditional wine expertise and a flair for innovation, Kolonne Null - founded in Berlin in 2018 - stands for excellent non-alcoholic wines. Rooted in the art of winemaking, the Kolonne Null wine laboratory works with
family wineries across Europe. Their common goal is to capture the characteristic features of each region, grape variety and vintage with their wines and to tell a unique story with every bottle.

ABOUT
The 2023 vintage, marked by a rainy autumn, presented some challenges that our winemakers mastered perfectly and, thanks to their many years of expertise, curated a particularly exciting aroma profile: Instead of the usual exotic fruit notes, the 2023 Riesling impresses with a clear fruit aroma dominated by golden yellow local fruits. This vintage an absolutely successful example of how difficult conditions can produce an exceptionally exquisite wine.
TASTING NOTES
Yellow fruit meets invigorating freshness and elegant minerality in this Riesling, which has been matured on the fine yeast. The acidity that is characteristic of Riesling is particularly spicy in this vintage and requires a great deal of sensitivity when dealing with alcohol. But it is precisely this spicy acidity, well balanced, that gives the wine a special tension and ensures an excellent drinking flow.
FOOD PAIRINGS
Sushi, prosciutto, arugula salad, pork schnitzel and shrimp tempura.
VINIFICATION
Temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel, maturation on the fine lees.
